Travel to Mexico and Find Your Partner?

October 8, 2010

We have a story to share with you like that, with a twist. Two of our clients first met in Mexico, not on a beach but as volunteers for ‘Club Dust.’ The charitable group builds sturdy homes for extremely poor residents in the Mexican border towns of Tijuana and Tecate.

Here’s our lead-in to their social media bio:

“Carroll and Strong’s partnership is a story of two men who instantly liked each other, and more. On their own, both were accomplished California custom home contractors. It took several years and a tropical rain storm to show them how great they could be as partners…”

A Man With History

September 22, 2010

Here’s a man we’re proud to share with you. His name is Max Baggett. When he engaged us to create his character bio for the web and brochures, we were delighted to find an accomplished General Contractor whose story is one of love, loyalty and generosity.

In our visits to Max’s office we found antique carpentry tools and handcrafted items of his trade. His bio weaves history and his love of life together. Our goal was to create an account worthy of the man behind the business. Here’s our lead:

“In the 1800’s the door to Max Baggett’s office was an important portal. Families on their way to the Monterey Peninsula, Big Sur, San Juan Bautista and points North or South stopped there for numerous blacksmith services and repairs to their wagons and household goods…”

Share the Passion

September 13, 2010

How does a business owner or professional share the passion or ethic that propels them in business? We helped Judy Sambrailo with just that:

“On collection day, about 70 neighbors’ trashcans appear where the road turns up to Judy Sambrailo’s mountain home. It can be quite a mess after the pickup. Judy is one to stop and clean up when she passes. She does the same on bikes and trail hikes. “To me, garbage and nature don’t go together…”

Nubius Organics is a green business that sells stainless water bottles and other earth friendly items for families. You may find some of their items here and there, but the entire collection is as unique as the owner’s story.

At Que100 we like to say: “When the difference is you, it’s time to let people know.”

See for yourself: here is the complete ‘character bio’ for Judy Sambrailo of Nubius Organics.

Connect Your Personal Story With Your Brand

May 12, 2010

A client who runs an in-home elder care service came to us for brand support. He wants to forge an emotional connection between new, potential clients and his brand. ‘Character is everything’ and like DNA in the body, a founder’s character infuses their business or professional practice.

What follows next is an excerpt and link to the full Character Bio we developed for Richard Kuehn, founder of Family inHome Caregiving. Our interviews with Richard disclosed a lifetime story of respect and exceptional care for the elderly. We believe readers will be inspired by Richard’s story and want the kind of care and character he exemplifies for themselves and their loved ones. Here’s how it reads:

What can a chair tell you about a man? This one says a lot about Richard Kuehn at the early age of 20. The woman who gave him the chair was 102 years old and a full-blood Apache. Apparently bedridden, she was a resident at the nursing facility where Richard worked. Fascinated by her recollections, he sat at her bedside in this chair for hours on end. “You know, before I die I’d like to sit in my chair again someday,” she said. It was the start of something wonderful.

Richard helped her from bed into the chair. His elderly patient’s outlook brightened. She began to… (To read the complete bio go HERE )
